Refund Policy
Effective August 17, 2026
Most refund policies are a promise you have to chase. Ours has two halves: the automatic half lives in the billing code and needs no chasing at all, and the on-request half is written here in plain terms.
Automatic — enforced in the billing code
Failed engine calls are never charged. A dropped or errored call to any AI engine records zero cost against your scan. If every engine call in a scan fails, the scan refunds itself automatically — the credits reserved at launch come back to your balance without you asking. A scan that delivered at least one real answer uses its reservation, and its report shows honestly which engines answered and which failed. When an engine is down at its provider before you launch, the scan screen says so — you are never sold a scan against an engine we already know is unavailable.
On request — unused credit packs
Bought a pack and ran nothing? Contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the unused credits to your original payment method. Credits already consumed by a launched scan are not refundable — the scan spent real money against paid AI APIs on your behalf the moment it ran. Partially used packs are refunded pro rata for the unused credits, on the same 14-day window.
Monitoring subscriptions
Cancel any time from your account — cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and runs covered by that period still happen. We do not refund partial subscription periods; if a scheduled run cannot execute, monitoring pauses instead of charging for work it cannot do.
How to request
Reach us via the contact page from the email on your account, say which purchase, and we will sort it out — usually within a few business days, refunded through Stripe to the card that paid. See also the terms of service and privacy policy.
